Hello!
Well, this is a product I got a whileeee ago, and I'm working my way through reviews of the things I got from sasa.com like a year ago ( i know, i'm terrible! ) because now I want to be a more dedicated and efficient blogger!
Today I'm going to talk about Rosette's Apple Gommage Hello Kitty edition
Oh, sorry for bad picture.. My house have terrible lighting D':
( nvm I will try to upload them later because blogger isn't letting me do so now :x )
Anyways, Rosette's Hello Kitty Apple Gommage offers you a gentle peeling, applying it onto a clean face and then rubbing it so the dead skin on your face will... Well, peel off lol. It's rather gentle, so I don't think it will be much of a problem for people with delicate or sensitive skin care.
The scent is quite nice, not very overpowering but strong enough for you to notice it. So if you dislike products with strong scents this should be ok with you!
Now, I didn't use it much. While the package is so fucking CUTE! The product itself didn't satisfice me, it would turn into those white balls kind of like j-ello too quickly, like, I barely rubbed the product against my skin and it had turned into those white things by then!
It made me think that maybe there is something in the product to respond to contact or air so it will quickly coagulate.
Maybe it's just in my head, but something about it doesn't really make me happy and I don't really noticed any radical change in my skin/face after it. Sure, it felt soft. But not incredibly soft.
I won't buy it again, and to be honest just keep it because of the packaging lol
But i'm just talking about my experience, maybe you or others will have a better one. At the moment, I just can say that this isn't a product I would use again. Though, I think it was a special limited edition, so maybe they aren't making it any more.

DIY Strawberry yogurt mask
Hello dears! Today I decided to make a homemade face mask :) I decided to follow Bubz's Strawberry Yogurt Mask tutorial, the only change I made was to add 2 tsps of sugar which can also be used as a natural and gentle exfoliant.
It was kind of hard to clean off, but I liked the results, my face feels sooooo smooth! \(^o^)/ My face also feels fresh and a bit firmer. The recipe makes enough of this mask to last you some days, so I will keep on using it ^__^
Here is Bubz's video so you can try it too!

My Beauty Diary Mask - Strawberry Yogurt
Yum right!? Since the day I ordered another ViVi Magazine (July 2011) and it came with a free sheet mask I fell in love with them. It was just so fun! While the mask I got with my magazine was an Utena vitamin mask like this one but I wanted to see what more was out there before buying another one. So, I came across the brand My Beauty Diary Mask. They had lots of 'flavors'! Which was awesome xD From all the ones I found and researched MBDM was the one who caught my attention in the end and made the final cut.
The Strawberry Yogurt <3 ^ o ^!
-
Suena rico no?
While looking at the different ones they had, and what they were for. Strawberry Yogurt was the one I choose.. Mainly for the flavor. It sounded so yummy.. Just kidding! Well, kinda.. xD
I got mine from eBay btw.
-

My opinion / Mi opinion:
I really liked it! While I didn't notice much whitening of my face (though I did notice a slight change in that, nothing too dramatic) I did love the way it brighten up my skin! Plus my face was left feeling smooth, hydrated and fresh! True, after I removed the mask I patted my face for the essence to really sink in, it felt sticky, but after a while it was gone. You just need to let you skin completely absorb it.
What I loved the most of this mask was its scent! I was just so yummy! Honestly! The moment I open the package I felt like if I had a real strawberry yogurt bowl or something there with me! So delicious~
-
Delicioso~
Rating:
Package / Empaque : ★★★★☆
Efficiency / Eficiencia : ★★★★☆
Smell / Olor : ★★★★★ ( I honestly wanted to eat that thing. Sadly the scent goes away after some minutes. Wish it left my face smelling like that. )
Would you buy it again? / Lo volverias a comprar?
Hell yes! Sadly, I read somewhere that it was a limited edition product, so I'm not sure if they will keep selling this. So far, I can't find it on MBDM's webpage ): Hopefully they will keep selling it.
-

Clean and Clear - Mattifying Cleanser (Oil Free)
Hello! ^_^ ~
Well, today I'm going to talk about Clean & Clear's Mattifying Cleanser Oil free! I bought this about two months ago or so.
According to the package it is:
-Super-absorving
-And has a mineral+ complex
Controls shine all day while removing impurities for a naturally beautiful finish
Ingredients
Water, Cetyl Alcohol, PPG-15 Stearyl Ether, Glycerin, Steareth-21. Titanium Dioxide, Polysorbate 60, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Seed Protein, Disodium Lauroamphodiaceate, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Phenoxyethanol, Salicylic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Fragance, Disodium EDTA, Menthol, Sodium Benzotiazolyl Butylphenol Sulfonate.
Well, this product works quite nicely. I mainly have an oily forehead and nose. While this areas still feel oily after using them, it reduces the oily feeling quite significantly! Plus reduces shine too.
What I noticed was that, if I used this along with my face moisturizer cream from neutrogena (it has sunblock :D) which is also oil-free the cleanser didn't have the same effect. My forehead was left feeling quite oily, like if I haven't used anything at all. Perhaps I should follow the product's advice and use the line moisturizer which is Clean & Clear finishes matiffying moisturizer.
Other than my forehead, the rest of my face was left feeling smooth and not at all oily! So it is somewhat of a hate-love relationship that I have with this cleanser xD.
All in all, it is a good product for its price, it isn't very expensive. Between 6 - 8 dls. for the 5 oz. bottle. Prices may change depending of where you buy them. And when I don't use that moisturizer I really like the effect it has on my skin.
I recommend that if you are going to use makeup to use a powder to seal your makeup after using it. For the mixture of this plus makeup and if you use a face moisturizer it may leave your face feeling a bit oily (at least using just moisturizer after using the matiffying cleanser did that to my forehead). THOUGH! This also depends on your skin. If you are lucky to don't suffer from an oily skin, I think this product will work beautifully for you ^_^ ! And you wouldn't have to worry about those things like me xD
Rating:
Package : ★★☆☆☆
Efficiency : ★★★☆☆
Smell : ★★★☆☆ ( It is a very faint not too pleasant yet not too bad smell. To be honest, sometimes I don't even smell it. )
Would I buy it again?
Most likely yes. Unless I find something that works better with my stupid oily T-zone >o<

BB Creams
Well, recently (like a month or so ago) I have stumbled across the so called BB Creams or Blemish Balm Cream. Everywhere I saw positive things about them (with a very small amount of people who said they didn’t work for them). To throw in some numbers lets say, 8 of 10 girls seem to say they work wonders for them. (Remember, it is a made up number.)
At first I thought BB Cream was the name of the brand, but oh, how wrong I was. There are so many brands who produce their own BB Creams. Depending on the brand and line, it is what you get. Some are kind of expensive, and some have a decent price. But what makes them so wonderful?
Apparently the formula was created in Germany. And it was prescription only, to cure laser skin surgery. And I quote from Wikipedia "Originally formulated in Germany, it was initially used by dermatologists to help laser surgery patients protect, soothe and refine highly sensitive skin while providing light coverage for post-laser scars, acne and other blemishes." So, it wasn’t really for beauty reasons. Until a Korean actresses decided to start using it for beauty reasons. It was a hit.
So! I am so tempted to try them! Sadly I spent my money in some other things and a few skin care products from Asia, whom I will make a review later. (once they arrive), so I will get to try the BB Cream once I save enough money and it arrives. I will probably order it via eBay. I have come across some other internet stores, but I have always been a fan of eBay, plus it seems there is more ‘variety’ in eBay from the webstores I have come across.
But how to know which one is the right one? After searching some more, I mainly found that people often reviewed or talked about these two bran Skin79 and Missha, but in wikipedia I found more brands that are the 'Hot' ones of the moment. BRTC - Bio Remedies Therapeutic Cosmetic, Dr. Jart, Lioele, Skin Food, The Face Shop, Missha and SKIN79. From these I decided to look into Missha and Skin79 more than the others. Though The Face Shop sounded like a good place to start too.
But in the end I scratched off my list.
So with Skin79 and Missha in mind I simply googled those brands names. Both have providers in the USA. Missha surprised me from having Mexico listed in their providers ( Since I'm from Mexico that was pretty cool. I wouldn't have to order from another country. But sadly the page isn't working. )
- Or you can always try eBay.
Both seem great. The main difference I found while reading reviews is that Skin79's BB Cream is not as light as Missha's.
Now, Missha and Skin79 both offer variety of creams (different type of skins). While I noticed that Missha offers different 'colors' (#13, #21 and #23) I didn't found that Skin79 offers that. So my guess is that Skin79's BB Cream adapts to your skin tone. Now, Skin79 sometimes hides other things in their bottles like the
The Oriental Gold BB Cream that has in the cap a lipgloss/blush. Which is rather cool in my opinion.
After thinking for a while which of these two brands to try. I went for the Skin79's
Super Plus BB Cream Triple Functions. Why? Mainly because it seems it has a little more coverage than Missha's BB Cream. Plus I'm in love with the package. It seems so cute ^^
So, I think I will order that. I also want to try the other BB Creams that Skin79 has to offer. So I can really compare. Of course this will take some time since I'm not rich to be ordering all those things xD But I will eventually do it.
Once I get paid I will order that BB Cream and once it arrives and I try it out, I will write a review about it.
Which reminds me! I haven’t talk about what the BB Cream does right?
Well, like I said before, it depends on the brand/line. But basically what they do is:
-Provide Sun Protection / Sunblock (Which is very good, since we all know sun can create ‘spots’ on skin, wrinkles and of course cancer)
-Anti-Wrinkle
-Natural Look while working as a light foundation
-It doesn’t clog your pores.
-Controls Sebum.
-Whitening.
-Evens skin tone.
-Moisturizes skin
And much more!
